By looking at the website and researching the majority of people who use gamespot.com, there are more men than women .Hegemonic masculinity is a good example of what the site is. Just by looking at most of the blogger's names who comment on the site, their names give me a reason to believe more men use the site. But some women do subscribe to the site as well just not as dominate as men do. Because I believe more men play video games more than majority of women do. Another way to describe the site is habitus. The site is a social environment for gamers, and they all can communicate with each other. It gives the users the freedom to explore and see whats new on the site.
