Hegemony #3
I think Hitler is a great example of hegemony. He had the power to convince his followers that his way was right, and that everyone should follow what he does and what he believes in. People were almost forced to follow him just becuase he had this menacing power over everyone. And many people looked up to him.
Hegemony #2
Hegemony #1
This picture of two politicians is a good example of hegemony. Politics like to discuss who has the better opinion on what is better for our country such as laws, and etc. Epically arguments between Democrats and Republicans, because they all have differences and none of agree on anything, the one group try to have more power over the other.

Research Blog 2 Subculture
Gamers is the subculture I chose to research, because I find it very interesting that gamers spend most of their time playing video games almost everyday. It's like an addiction that they cant get rid of, they would rather play games all day than go to work or spend time with friends, family, etc. The gaming world has evolved with online gaming as well which has also been some sort of a subculture in a way with people always competing against each other on the outside world. I expect to discover what its like to be a gamer in a gamers point of view, what makes this subculture is so revolutionary, and what other people think about this subculture of gamers.
While researching about gamers I already knew a few things about this subculture before even starting this project. Ive seen reality TV shows about gamers, and how there lives are and what makes them so addicted. Some of the difficult things i might run into about gamers is stereotyping them, when I see and hear about gamers I think of them just sitting around all day playing games and nothing else. But I would like to know what gamers actually do and why they do it and figure out the real perspective of this subculture.

Privatization
This picture of a Toll Booth is a good representation of privatization. There is a difference between toll roads and toll bridges. Many of the toll roads and bridges in our country are privately owned, but most of the roads themselves are publicly owned. Toll booths is a good example of privitization because it is either government or state controlled systems then turned into private coporate sectors to generate profit.
Multinational corporation
The picture of this McDonald's restaurant is a good example of multinational corporation. For instance McDonald's is a large based company in the United States, but generates large amounts of resource and profits around the world. They also use cheap labour and products they may not be the healthiest products but yet, they are a staple of American culture that grew worldwide.
