These logos have a wide range of showing the meaning of what it represents, both are very popular and have been expressed all over the world. For instance the DC logo catches everyone's eye who likes to skateboard. But mostly it is known as a fashion brand for many people. It represents more popularly celebrity Rob Dyrdek, who is the owner of this brand and he has made this logo become what it is today. His popular and funny television shows have made this logo become so popular because he wears it in all of his episodes from hats, shirts, and shoes. Its not just a brand worn by people who skate, but for those who see this logo and go out and buy this product, I know I do. Ive always worn DC because of the show, I don't skate but I am a big fan of Rob Dyrdek. And the clothing products are awesome, and many people see this as a popular fashion statement.
The Android logo, not many people know about, but I have full knowledge of what its all about. When people see this logo epically those who are into cell phones or work for a cell company like me we know what this logo stands for. A type of phone product that has taken over the cell phone industry the past 2 years. For those who have Android phones they will see this logo pop up sooner or later on their phone. A lot of people don't know the knowledge of it, like for those who have "DROID" phones from Verizon, people tend to think they have a Droid phone and not a Android phone. Android phones have been around since 2008 when T-Mobile had the G1. But now everyone knows now what Android is ever since Verizon began advertising for their first DROID phones. Almost 50% of the cell phones sold in the U.S. this past year was Android phones. Now everyone sees what this logo is and how popular these phones have become. Marketers knew when to make their product noticed and now this company has established itself as the next "IPhone" killer! Like the Apple logo that everyone is use to seeing will soon be this Android little guy at every big cell phone carrier.

Reading Blog 7
The users and creators power structure of gamespot.com have more of a freedom of use to the creators of this website. The site gives many exploring options to the users, epically for those who make comments or blogs about video games, but there is limited access sometimes. Whenever a user makes a comment or blog review on the site, the owners analyze the blog when it is posted and then they determined whether they want it posted or not. Its mostly a user friendly site due to the fact that they have to be careful what is being said because it can be taken off at any time. The owners put a lot of time and hard work to make the site the way it is and looks to the users. So in this power structure the owners control this website.

Research Blog # 5
The website that highlights this subculture is video games. It shows many posts and blogs about different game reviews and what people's opinon's are about each game and they give there own statement. As you discover more about the website page, you get to see in depth analysis from different blogs espically people who make a statement about a game and then you get to see long arguements from other gamers in just one blog. The websites front page is just reviews and blogs but their is more too it.
As you look at the websites backround you see a snapshot of a certain video game. Each day the backround changes to another popular gaming title. You can also look at upcoming games and new releases. Most of this website tho is all about gamers opinions. I really do like this website because I like to hear their opinions about the gaming world, and some of them are very entertaining. This is my research blog website.

Blog on Chapter 3
The satirical news programs that we see on TV everyday such as The Colbert Report, Daily Show, The Soup and etc. Have a very unique way of getting viewers attention by using a sense of humor and exploring everyday news conflicts in a fun entertaining way. They create consensus by having comedians or famous celebrities to host the show and give it a different feel for watching the news, unlike the regular news which is more serious and real, the programs that use comedy to broadcast the news make it seem real and legitimate which is then flipped to make it funny in its own way. In a way these news programs have no boundaries. Everything that is talked about is their own opinion, and it is there view on today's society in the world. Taking real events and flipping it upside down with a sense of humor and tongue-in-cheek is what these shows offer, and this is the differences that occur when used to create consensus.
